Overview

The LT8640S-2 synchronous step-down regulator features a Silent Switcher architecture designed to minimize EMI emissions and provide high efficiency at high switching frequencies. Peak current mode control with a 30ns minimum turn-on time enables high step-down ratios even at high switching frequencies.

Burst Mode® operation enables ultra-low standby current consumption, forced continuous mode controls frequency harmonics across the output load range or, alternatively, extended spectrum operation can further reduce EMI emission.
