The system running in Apples upcoming AR/VR headset is called "xrOS", which is the version of the system originally planned to be called "RealityOS" or "rOS".

According to existing reports, Apple is already preparing for the release of the headset, which is expected sometime in 2023. The product will reportedly have a system specific to the series, just like Apple TV and Apple Watch, and it will also have a dedicated App Store.
