According to the news from Longchamp, Qingtian County People's Government of Zhejiang Province signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Longchamp and Gufan Technology to build the first metaverse intelligent computing centre in China, which will have an arithmetic performance of over 1 billion times per second and create a metaverse digital asset creation platform covering the whole process of metaverse co-creation, high precision simulation, real-time rendering and intelligent interaction.


According to the introduction, as an important infrastructure for the integration of digital and real, the Metaverse Smart Computing Centre provides the core source of power for the construction and operation of the metaverse through the leading "computing power infrastructure + full-stack metaverse" solution. It can efficiently build a virtual world from a "virtual world" to a "combined virtual and real world", carrying a highly realistic, large-scale, operable and renderable 3D virtual world, relying on advanced technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, AR/VR and the Internet of Things. It provides a real-time synchronised and continuous interactive experience for hundreds of millions of users.


Designed with the world's leading wise computing architecture, the Qingtian MetaComputing Centre will deploy MetaEngine, the MetaComputing server, to help users create digital assets more efficiently. It will provide efficient computing support for meta-universe scenarios in various industries, such as enterprise management, industry, transportation, finance and cities, through four major operational steps: collaborative creation, high precision simulation, real-time rendering and intelligent interaction, and will gradually open up a multi-dimensional and multi-scene integration of digital reality.


A single MetaEngine can be configured with 8 NVIDIA L40 professional GPU cards, with full link support for PCIe Gen5, increasing overall performance by nearly two times. The new NVIDIA CX7 network adapter is also fully supported, doubling bandwidth. A single MetaEngine can increase AIGC digital scenes per second by 2x, support 4000 digital scenes per second in AIGC, increase real-time rendering speed in digital twin scenes by 50%, and increase digital human voice session training performance by 1.6x. 32 MetaEngines can be combined into one clustered scalable unit, and multiple scalable units can be scaled horizontally to form larger clusters. A single MetaEngine can support 256 meta-universe architects to collaborate on the creation of 2000 digital scenes per second AIGC, and 1000 VR/AR users to share a 10K resolution 3D digital world experience.
