The device is a high voltage half bridge driver with a built-in oscillator. The oscillator frequency can be programmed and capacitor using an external resistor. The internal circuitry of the device allows it to be driven by external logic signals as well. The output driver is designed to drive external n-channel power MOSFETs and IGBTs. the built-in logic ensures dead time to avoid crossover power device conduction. Two versions are available: L6571A and L6571B, which have different internal dead times: 1.25µs and 0.72µs (typical).
