The AD2428WCCSZ02 Automotive Audio Bus (A2B) transceiver is powerful enough to tailor system-level performance to the strictest electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements. The AD242x A2B transceiver provides configurable transmit power levels that enable developers to match system performance to specific OEM EMC requirements. The transceiver also supports extended microphone connection use cases and distributes audio and control data as well as clock and power via a single unshielded twisted-pair cable, significantly reducing cabling complexity. These features significantly reduce system costs and are ideal for emerging multi-microphone applications such as road noise cancellation, in-vehicle communications, and autonomous driving.

The AD242x A2B transceiver comes in a 32-pin LFCSP (5mm x 5mm) package and is fully pin-compatible, simplifying upgrades and reducing time to market. The devices are also fully compliant with all relevant automotive EMC, EMI and ESD requirements, fully compliant with the AEC-Q100 standard, and can operate in the extended automotive temperature range from -40 ° C to +105 ° C.
