The u-blox IRIS-W10 module is a series of high performance, independent, triple radio, Wi-Fi® 6 and Bluetooth ® low power modules. The device offers robust Wi-Fi channel security and reliability, higher network efficiency, and lower power consumption.

The u-blox IRIS-W10 module was used to demonstrate the NXP RW612 wireless microcontroller unit (MCU) that integrates three radios. IRIS-W10 supports Wi-Fi 6 technology, Bluetooth LE 5.3, 802.15.4 low-speed wireless networking, and open standard Matter connectivity over Wi-Fi, Thread, and Ethernet. Combining both PCB antenna and external antenna options, IRIS-W1 is the ideal solution for securely connected products in both commercial and home ecosystems.

The IRIS-W101 module does not support an internal antenna, allowing the PCB shape to be tailored to 14.6mm x 16.8mm. The RF signal is not an internal antenna, but is mounted on the module pin for routing to an external antenna or antenna connector.

Using Abracon-licensed antenna technology, the IRIS-W106 is equipped with an internal PCB trace antenna. The RF signal cannot be used for external connections. The module shape is 14.6mmx20.9mm.

The Open CPU module configuration is embedded with a powerful Arm® Cortex®-M33 MCU (clocked up to 260MHz, with 1.2MB RAM and 8MB flash memory), It also supports a variety of peripheral interfaces (UART, USB, SPI, SDIO, RMII, QVGA, I2S, I2C and GPIO).
