Overview:

The SkyHigh 3.3V E.MC Flash memory device is a managed NAND memory solution designed for embedded applications. These E.MC devices include flash controllers and standard MLC NAND flash memory, compatible with JEDEC JESD84-B51 and backward compatible with previous E.MC specifications. The 3.3V E.MC device is designed for faster throughput and big data transfer, providing high performance, excellent reliability and minimal latency. Flash provides optimal power management capabilities that reduce power consumption, making it an ideal solution for mobile applications.

Highly optimized SkyHigh firmware takes full advantage of MLC NAND capabilities to extend product life with wear balancing, defect management, garbage collection, and ECC. The E.MC series offers a large number of JEDEC E.MC features. These features include HS200, HS400, High Priority Interrupt (HPI), boot partitioning, RPMB partitioning, background operations, hardware reset, and shutdown notifications. Combined with advanced E.MC devices, they are ideal for industrial applications, set-top boxes, game consoles and consumer electronics devices.
