Description:

The MAQ800GQE-AEC1 is an 8-bit Angle encoder with push-button function that is AEC-Q100 certified. The MAQ800 is suitable for human machine interface (HMI) slow operation and manual control at speeds below 200rpm. It can detect the absolute angular position of the permanent magnet attached to the axis of rotation.


The shape and configuration of the magnet are very flexible. Typically, the MAQ800 is used with radially magnetized cylindrical magnets with a diameter of 2-8mm.


The device has a configurable magnetic field strength threshold for button or pull function. The output is two logical signals. The MAQ800 uses on-chip non-volatile memory (NVM) to store configurable parameters such as the reference zero-angle position and magnetic field detection thresholds.
