Description:

The STM32WB09xE is an ultra-low power programmable Bluetooth® low power wireless SoC solution. Embedded with advanced 2.4GHz RF radio peripherals from ST, the solution is optimized for ultra-low power consumption and excellent radio performance, with the best battery life.


Compliant with Bluetooth® Low Power SIG Core Specification version 5.3, supports point-to-point connectivity and Bluetooth® Mesh networking, allowing large-scale device networks to be established in a reliable manner. The STM32WB09xE is also suitable for 2.4GHz proprietary wireless communications, supporting ultra-low latency applications.


In addition to this, the STM32WB09xE offers enhanced security hardware support, including the following dedicated hardware features: True random number generator (TRNG) compliant with NIST special publication 800-90B, secure coprocessor for 128-bit AES encryption, CRC computing unit, 64-bit unique ID, Flash memory read/write protection, and Public Key Accelerator (PKA).


The PKA supports modular arithmetic, including exponential operations with a maximum modulus of 3136 bits, scalar multiplication of elliptic curves in prime fields, ECDSA signatures, ECDSA authentication with a maximum modulus of 521 bits, CRC cells, and security levels that support constant-time operations.
