The MAX20011B buck converter features a 2.2MHz fixed-frequency PWM mode for better noise immunity and load transient response.

Overview:

The MAX20011BAFOO/VY high efficiency buck converter operates in the input voltage range from 3.0V to 5.5V and offers an output voltage range from 0.5V to 1.275V. The device has a wide input/output voltage range and is capable of delivering up to 12A peak output current, making it ideal for on-board point of load and post regulator applications.


The MAX20011B buck converter features a 2.2MHz fixed frequency PWM mode for better noise resistance and load transient response. The 2.2MHz operating frequency supports all-ceramic capacitors, minimizing the number of external components. The spread spectrum modulation option maximizes the suppression of electromagnetic radiation. The integrated low RDS (ON) switch improves efficiency at heavy loads and provides a simpler layout than vertical solutions.


The MAX20011BAFOO/VY buck converter is available in a 3.5mm x 3.75mm, 17-pin side wettable FC2QFN package.
