Thanks to ST's ART Accelerator™ and L1 CACHE, the STM32F722VET7 microcontroller delivers the superior theoretical performance of the Cortex-M7 core, whether executing program code from internal Flash memory or external memory: 1082 CoreMark/462 DMIPS on 216 MHz fCPU.


The STM32F7 series uses the Cortex-M7 kernel:

AXI and multi-AHB bus matrices for kernel, peripheral, and memory interconnections

The maximum I cache and D cache is 16 KB +16 KB

Up to 2 MB of internal Flash memory with synchronous read and write capabilities on some devices

Two universal and dedicated DMA controllers for Ethernet (some models), high-speed USB OTG interface, and Chrom-ART graphics accelerator (some models)

Peripheral speed is independent of CPU speed (dual clock support), so that system clock changes do not affect peripherals

More peripherals, such as two serial audio interfaces (SAI) with SPDIF output support, three I²S half-duplex interfaces with SPDIF input support, two USB OTG interfaces with dedicated power supply, and dual-mode Quad-SPI Flash memory interfaces
