Overview:

The Amphenol 3000 W EnergyEdge X-treme card edge series offers one of the highest linear densities available. The series has twice the number of contact points and 25% higher linear current density than existing card edge products. The X-treme's revolutionary dual contact design pushes the boundaries of card edge technology beyond 3000 W, powering modern system architectures. Compared to eHPCE®, the EnergyEdge series is 23% smaller in size, carrying 3,000 W of power in the same 43 mm space. The series features two different power contacts, A two-beam contact option with A pitch of 5.08 mm and a rated current of 28 A per contact, and a 3-beam contact option with a pitch of 7.62 mm and a rated current of 42 A per contact. Multiple contact options provide greater flexibility for different pad layouts. The product family is available in right Angle, right Angle coplanar, vertical and jumper mounting configurations.
