Overview:

The Samtec ExaMAX ® high-speed backplane system offers high design flexibility to accommodate a variety of applications, including Flyover® cables supporting 112Gbps PAM4 and board-to-board connectors supporting 64Gbps PAM4. ExaMAX backplane systems are suitable for use in a variety of industries, including 5G networking, medical, automotive, instrumentation, military/aerospace, and AI/ machine learning.


112 Gbps PAM4 Cable Assembly:

The ExaMAX backplane cable system improves signal integrity and deployable linearity using Samtec Flyover technology, which routes signals over lossmaking PCBs-via co-extruded, ultra-low skew twin-to improve bandwidth and coverage. Direct contact solder optimizes signal path to further improve performance.


The EBCL series is a vertical locking guard for ExaMAX® backplane cable receptacles.

Features:

• Provides EBCF-VT to EBTM-VT fixation

• Surround and protect EBTM-VT

• Screw mounting to secure the EBCL to the board (M2 thread)
