The MAXQ1065 security coprocessor integrates 8KB of secure storage for user data, keys, certificates, and counters, as well as user-defined access control and lifecycle management. The device also has configurable output pins and tamper-proof input pins. Commands can be accessed via a standard SPI interface.


The device has low power consumption, is suitable for battery-powered applications, and is very small in size, with a significantly reduced pin count, and can be easily integrated into medical and wearable devices. Its service life and operating range are ideal for long-term deployment in harsh environments. The MAXQ1065 lifecycle management facilitates flexible access control rules throughout the major lifecycle phases of the device. The device also offers a secure key loading protocol and secure factory pre-programming.
