Diodes Corporation (Nasdaq: DIOD) introduces automotive specification * compliant 10Gbps 6:4 active cross multiplexer with linear ReDriver™ signal modulator. The small PI3DPX1225Q device switches on and off USB 3.2 and DisplayPort™ 2.1 signals via a USB Type-C® interface to provide low-latency, high-signal integrity connectivity for smart cockpit and rear-seat entertainment systems.

The PI3DPX1225Q supports three operating modes: The device can be connected to USB 3.2 Gen 2 single channel and USB Type-C interface; Connect USB 3.2 Gen 2 single channel and DP 2.1 UHBR10 dual channel; Or connect DP 2.1 UHBR10 quad channel. This device integrates an AUX monitor and conforms to the USB Type-C standard to switch AUX channels when a transmission line flip is detected.

Differential signals can be easily adjusted via continuous time linear equalization (CTLE) for USB 3.2 Gen 2 and DP 2.1 UHBR10 operating modes. The output compression swing (-1dB) and flat gain values can be controlled via an I2C setting. By reducing inter-code crosstalk (ISI) jitter, 10Gbps signal performance can be optimized on a variety of physical media. Linear equalization does not hinder the decision feedback Equalizer (DFE) for adaptive channel control at the receiver end - this feature supports DP 2.1 transparent link training (LT) without relying on DP-AUX channel listeners.

The PI3DPX1225Q comes in a 40-pin W-QFN6040-40 package, measuring 4mm x 6mm.
