Instructions
The ADS8900B is a pin-to-pin compatible high-speed, single-channel, high-precision 20-bit successive approximation register (SAR) -based analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an integrated reference buffer and integrated low voltage difference regulator (LDO).
With TI's enhanced SPI feature, the ADS8900B improves analog performance while maintaining high-resolution data transmission. The enhanced SPI enables the ADS8900B to achieve high throughput at lower clock speeds, simplifying board layout and reducing system costs. The enhanced SPI also simplifies the timing of data by the host, making it ideal for applications that include FPgas and DSPS. The ADS8900B is compatible with standard SPI interfaces.
The ADS8900B has an internal data parity function that can be attached to the ADC data output. ADC data verification by the host using parity bits improves system reliability.
