Renesas Electronics RC32312A FemtoClock ™ Clock synthesizer with industry-leading phase noise and jitter, This makes it particularly suitable for use in 100G/200G/400G/800G carrier-grade switch line cards, switching cards, wired communication equipment, data center equipment and instrumentation applications.


Instructions:

The RC32312A000GN1 is an ultra-low phase noise jitter attenuator, multi-frequency synthesizer, synchronous Ethernet synchronizer and numerical control oscillator (DCO). The device is highly integrated and supports up to four frequency domains while maintaining low power consumption. The FemtoClock 3 is versatile and can accommodate a variety of operating modes, such as synchronization, jitter attenuation, and clock generation. It has excellent 25fs-rms jitter, exceeding the reference clock requirements of 112Gbps and the next generation of 224Gbps SerDes. In addition, the RC323x series synthesizers support commonly used crystals in the frequency range 48MHz to 68MHz, ensuring compliance with strict jitter specifications.

Open source synchronization software and device drivers that support the Linux kernel for customer use to meet ESMC specifications
