It was reported on September 27 that the Huawei Mate 50 Pro was launched in China on the 21st of this month. Today, the international version of the phone was officially launched overseas. A representative of Huawei confirmed that there are currently no plans to launch the standard version of the Mate 50 overseas.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro uses a notch display, supports Huawei's own XMAGE imaging technology, and is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera that supports variable aperture. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ chip, but does not support 5G. In addition, Huawei used Kunlun glass on the 6.74-inch OLED, which is the first in the industry to obtain the Swiss SGS five-star drop resistance certification, and the drop resistance of the whole machine is 10 times higher than that of ordinary glass.
The Chinese version of Mate 50 Pro has the Beidou satellite message function, but the overseas version does not support this function. Another difference between the overseas version and the Chinese version is that the former uses the Android-based EMUI 13, while the Chinese version uses Harmony OS. 3.0.
