The DAC38RF86 is a high-performance, dual-channel, 14-bit, 9GSPS, RF sampled digital-to-analog converter (DAC) capable of synthesizing wideband signals in the 0GHz to 4.5GHz range.

The DAC38RF86IAAVR is a dual-channel 14-bit 9GSPS 6x-24x interpolated 9GHz GSM PLL digital-to-analog converter (DAC).

Overview:

The DAC38RF86 is a high-performance, dual-channel, 14-bit, 9GSPS, RF sampled digital-to-analog converter (DAC) capable of synthesizing wideband signals in the 0GHz to 4.5GHz range. The high dynamic range allows the DAC38RFxx family to generate signals for a variety of applications, including 3G/4G signals for wireless base stations and radar.


The device features a low-power JESD204B interface with up to eight channels with a maximum bit rate of 12.5Gbps/ channel and a composite input data rate of 1.25GSPS/ channel. The DAC38RFxx provides two digital upconverters per channel with multiple interpolation rate options. Digital quadrature modulators with frequency-flexible independent NCO can be used to support multi-band operation. The integration of GSM-compatible low phase noise PLL/VCO simplifies the generation of DAC sampling clocks by allowing the use of lower frequency reference clocks.
