The R5F526TFDGFM is a 32-bit microcontroller for dual motor control and PFC control.
Overview:
The Renesas RX26T 32-bit microcontroller is a 5V compatible device that enables dual motor control via field oriented control (FOC) and power factor correction (PFC) control on a single chip. RX26T RXv3 core is the third generation of RX CPU core (120MHz operating frequency), flash support 120MHz read operation, trigonometric function unit (TFUv2) to provide higher computing performance.
The RX26T microcontroller supports 120MHz PWM (three-phase complementary x2 channel + single-phase complementary x2 channel) timer function, and the analog function is provided by three 12-bit analog-to-digital converter units (two units with 3-channel synchronous sampling and hold circuits).
The RX26T series includes:
• HOCO with guaranteed oscillation accuracy of ±1.0% (-20°C ≤ Ta)
• Data flash
• Single-ended PGA
• Comparator
• Additional components in compact QFN package (space saving due to reduced number of components)
In addition, the device includes CAN-FD for high-speed interdevice communication and I3C Basic for high-speed communication with sensors for faster data transfer. Flash has a dual-group configuration and BGO/SWAP capability, allowing firmware to be rewritten without stopping the system. Trusted Security IP-Lite integrates basic management functions and an encryption engine, reducing the risk of information leakage from the system.
