The Microchip PCI11400 PCIe switch (with USB 3.2 host controller) combines a USB 3.2 Gen 2 host controller with customizable I/O. The PCI11400 provides a 4-channel (4x8GT/s) uplink port and a 1-channel (1x8GT/s) downlink port to meet the needs of higher bandwidth PCIe in embedded applications. It supports a maximum line rate of 8GT/s and is certified with PCIe Revision 4.x. The device can provide PCIe uplink over a single or multiple channels to suit the system architecture and is PCIe compatible from external interfaces to switching structures and endpoint controller implementations.
