Product Description:

The VNH5180 is a full-bridge motor driver suitable for a wide range of automotive applications. The device has a dual-single-chip high-end driver and two low-end switches. Both switches are designed with ST's well-known and proven proprietary VIPower M0 technology to efficiently integrate true power MOSFETs and smart signal/protection circuits on the same chip. The device is packaged in PowerSSO-36 TP and is mounted on an electrically isolated lead frame. This package is designed for harsh automotive environments, and the exposed chip pad improves heat dissipation performance. In addition, its fully symmetrical mechanical design allows for superior manufacturability at the board level.
