The TCAN1048AVDMTRQ1 is an enhanced automotive dual-channel CAN transceiver with low power standby mode and 1.8V I/O support, meeting the physical layer requirements of the ISO 11898-2:2016 High Speed CAN specification.

The TCAN1048AV-Q1 transceiver supports traditional CAN and CAN FD networks with data rates up to 8 megabits per second (Mbps). The device includes internal logic level conversion via VIO terminals, allowing transceiver IO to be directly connected to 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V or 5V logic IO.

The two CAN channels support independent mode control via standby pins. As a result, each transceiver CAN be placed in low-power standby mode without affecting the state of other CAN channels. In standby mode, the device can be remotely awakened using the Wake up Mode (WUP) defined in ISO 11898-2:2016.
