Description:
The ISOW1044 device is an electrically isolated Controller local Area Network (CAN) transceiver with a built-in isolated DC/DC converter that eliminates the need for a separate isolated power supply in space-constrained isolated designs. Low-emission, isolated DC/DC converters comply with CISPR 32 radiant Emission Class B standards and use only two ferrite beads on a simple two-layer PCB. An additional 20mA output current can be used to power other circuits on the board. The device features an integrated 10Mbps GPIO channel that helps remove additional digital isolators or optocouplers for diagnostics, LED indications, or power monitoring.
