The LTC3265EDHC is a low-noise, bipolar output power supply with a built-in boost charge pump, a negative output charge pump, and two low-noise positive-negative LDO rear regulators.

Overview

The LTC3265 is a low-noise, bipolar output power supply with a built-in boost charge pump, a negative output charge pump, and two low-noise positive-negative LDO rear regulators. The boost charge pump is responsible for powering the positive LDO rear regulator, while the negative output charge pump is used to power the negative LDO regulator. Each LDO provides up to 50mA of output current. The LDO output voltage can be adjusted using an external resistance divider.


The charging pump operates in low static current burst mode or low noise constant frequency mode. During burst mode operation, the boost charging pump adjusts its output (VOUT+) to 0.94 • 2 • VIN_P, while the negative output charging pump adjusts its output (VOUT -) to -0.94 • VIN_N. In burst-mode operation, the LTC3265 absorbs only 135μA of static current (with both Ldos on).

Low noise positive LDO rear regulators are available up to 50mA

Low noise negative LDO rear regulators are available up to 50mA

135μA static current in Burst Mode® operation (with both LDO regulators on)

50kHz to 500kHz programmable oscillator frequency

Stable when ceramic capacitors are used

Short circuit/thermal protection

Flat 3mm x 5mm 18-pin DFN package and heat-resistant enhanced 20-pin TSSOP package
