LG Electronics has sold its in-vehicle smartphone wireless charging business for 140 billion won ($115.2 million) to South Korean circuit board maker BH, according to foreign media reports.
LG Corp has decided to sell the in-vehicle wireless charging unit within its Vehicle Component Solutions division to South Korea's BH Corp, a maker of smartphone components listed on the Korea Securities Dealers Association, sources said. The price is 140 billion won (about 115.2 million US dollars). BH will buy the unit through its BHEVS company, BH EVS, a subsidiary of BH's automotive electronics business that was established earlier this month.
