The 5P49V6967A000NDGI is the sixth-generation programmable clock generator launched by Renesas, designed for high-performance networking, computing, industrial, consumer electronics and data communication applications. The following are its core features:

Flexible 1.8V, 2.5V and 3.3V power rails

· High performance, low phase noise PLL, output <0.5ps RMS typical phase jitter

· Four sets of internal OTP memory

- Programmable within the system

·I2C serial programming interface

The -0xD0 or 0xD4 I2C address option allows for the configuration of multiple devices within the same system

Refer to the LVCMOS output clock

· Three universal configurable outputs (OUT1,2,4) :

- Differential (LVPECL, LVDS or HCSL)

1kHz to 350MHz

- Two single-ended (in phase or 180 degrees out of phase)

1kHz to 200MHz

I/O VDD can be mixed and matched, supporting 1.8V (LVDS and LVCMOS), 2.5V or 3.3V

Each output pair is independently spread spectrum

· Programmable output enable or power-off mode

· Ambient operating temperature: -40°C to 85°C

Introduction

The 5P49V6967A000NDGI clock generator can store the configuration in on-chip one-time programmable (OTP) memory or modify the configuration using the I2C interface.


The frequencies of the 5P49V6967A000NDGI programmable clock generator are all generated by a single reference clock. This reference clock can come from one of the two redundant clock inputs. The fault-free manual switching function allows the selection of one of the redundant clocks during normal operation. The two selection pins allow for programming up to four different configurations and can be used in different working modes.


In addition, the 5P49V6967A000NDGI has four additional LPHCSL outputs (OUT 3,5,6,7).
