Bourns, a globally renowned leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection and sensing solutions, has newly launched the SRP2512CL and SRP3212CL series of shielded power inductors. These two brand-new series feature low AC impedance (ACR) and low DC internal resistance (DCR), which can effectively reduce energy loss and enhance efficiency. Bourns has specially designed these shielded power inductors with the above-mentioned characteristics for the latest DDR5 memory technology requirements (such as DDR5 power management circuit PMics, as well as DDR5 client modules for desktop computers, laptops and tablets).
The SRP2512CL and SRP3212CL series inductors adopt a shielded structure to reduce magnetic field radiation and are equipped with nanocrystalline cores to support high currents and reduce buzzer noise. Bourns has developed a new nanocrystalline powder manufacturing process technology and combined it with its latest inductor manufacturing process to provide design engineers with an excellent ultra-low buzzer noise solution. In addition, the operating temperature range of these new power inductors is from -40 to +125°C, with a maximum inductance of up to 1.5 microhenries (µH), and they are available in package sizes of 3030 and 2520.
The Bourns® SRP2512CL and SRP3212CL series of shielded power inductors are now available. The entire series complies with RoHS standards and is halogen-free. Orders can now be placed through authorized Bourns agent partners.
