Product Introduction:

The AFE7444 is a four-channel wideband RF sampling analog front end (AFE) with a 14-bit 9GSPS DAC and 14-bit 3GSPS ADC. Operating at radio frequencies up to 6GHz, this device supports direct RF sampling to the C band without additional frequency conversion phases. Improvements in density and flexibility enable support for high channel count, multi-tasking systems.

The DAC signal path supports interpolation and digital up-conversion options, providing up to 800MHz signal bandwidth. The differential output path includes a digital stepping attenuator (DSA) that supports output power tuning.

Each ADC input path includes a dual-channel DSA and RF digital power detector. Flexible extraction options provide data bandwidth optimization.

8-channel (8 TX + 8 RX) Subclass 1 compatibility JESD204B interface runs at speeds up to 15Gbps. Bypassable on-chip PLL simplifies clock operation with optional clock output.
