Overview:

The LMX8410RGZR High Performance mixer is a high performance broadband I/Q demodulator with a wide RF frequency input range from 4GHz to 10GHz. The LMX8410 provides excellent dynamic range at an IIP3 of 28dB and a noise factor of 15dB (both at 5GHz) for high performance applications. The device provides a large and complex bandwidth of 2.7GHz for high data rate applications. The LMX8410 mixer uses an automatic DC offset voltage correction algorithm to reduce offset voltage below ±2mV.

Using the SPI interface, the gain and phase of the I and Q channels can be precisely controlled, thus achieving high image suppression. The LMX8410 is highly integrated, saving board space and reducing complexity. The device integrates a wideband RF input balanced-unbalanced converter, so no external balanced-unbalanced converter is required. The device also integrates high-performance PLL and VCO, so there is no need for external LO and LO drivers. In addition, the LMX8410 incorporates an IF amplifier and several low-noise Ldos, reducing complexity and simplifying the board.
