Chip introduction

The RA8T1 microcontroller features a high-performance 480MHz Arm ® Cortex®-M85 core powered by Helium™ technology. The Renesas Electronics RA8T1 features up to 2MB of code flash (with duplex, background, and SWAP operations), 12KB of data flash, and 1MB of SRAM (with parity /ECC). This microcontroller has highly integrated features including Ethernet MAC controller, USB 2.0 Full speed, CANFD, SDHI, I3C, and advanced analog features. In addition, it integrates Renesas security IP (with crypto accelerator), key management support, tamper detection, and power analysis resistors, in conjunction with Arm TrustZone to provide integrated security component capabilities.
