The AD4684BCPZ is a 16-bit, pin-compatible dual-synchronous sampling, high-speed, low-power, successive approximation register (SAR) and analog-to-digital converter (ADC), with an operating power supply voltage ranging from 3.0V to 3.6V and a throughput of 1 MSPS. The analog input type is single-ended input and sampling and transformation are performed at the falling edge of CS.


The AD4684BCPZ features an on-chip timing controller and an integrated on-chip oversampling module, which can enhance the dynamic range at low bandwidths and reduce noise. It contains a buffered internal 2.5V reference voltage source. Alternatively, an external reference voltage source up to 3.3V can be used. The conversion process and data acquisition use standard control inputs, and thus can be connected to a microprocessor or digital signal processor (DSP). The AD4684BCPZ uses a separate logic power supply and is compatible with 1.8V, 2.5V and 3.3V interfaces.
