Mingjiada Electronics is now supplying Infineon's new high performance LDO, the TLS820F0EL, which is designed to provide excellent performance for all ECUs connected to the battery in automotive applications.

The TLS820F0EL has an ultra-low dropout voltage with an input voltage range of 3V to 40V, an output voltage accuracy of ±2%, a typical quiescent current of only 40μA, and a maximum output current of up to 200mA. It has a typical dropout of only 70mV at currents of less than 100mA and requires only a small 1μF ceramic capacitor at the output for stability.

The LDOs are equipped with a variety of protection functions, such as output current limit, thermal shutdown, undervoltage reset, power-on delay reset, etc., and a watchdog circuit with flexible timing is integrated to effectively monitor microcontroller operation. In addition, the LDOs are available in a PG-SSOP-14 package, are automotive-grade AEC certified, and have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. They are suitable for automotive general-purpose ECUs, small electronic control units, auxiliary power supplies in ECUs, instrument panels, combination instruments, climate control, fuel pumps, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
