The PT4161LRS is an Aries family of intelligent retimers designed to address the signal integrity challenges in PCIe 4.0 (16GT/s) and PCIe 5.0 (32GT/s) architectures. As the industry's first pin-compatible PCIe 4.0/5.0 retimer upgrade solution, the PT4161LRS has been successfully deployed in multiple cloud service providers and server OEMs, and has completed comprehensive interoperability testing with top CPU, GPU and end-device vendors.


The PT4161LRS uses an innovative protocol non-disruptive low-latency architecture that significantly reduces signalling latency while being completely transparent to system software. Its core value lies in its ability to extend the coverage of PCIe signals by more than 28dB at 16GT/s, effectively solving the problem of attenuation of high-speed signals in long-distance transmission.PT4161LRS meets all PCIe 4.0 rate and re-timer functionality requirements, supporting more flexible system topology while reducing the cost of the overall solution.
