AMS OSRAM, a world-leading provider of optical solutions, recently announced the launch of the latest blue-green laser diode - PLT5 488HB_EP, specifically developed for the field of life sciences, to expand its high-power laser product line. This diode emits laser with a wavelength of 488nm, and its brightness is five times higher than that of the previous generation. It has achieved significant breakthroughs in performance and energy efficiency compared to earlier models. The improvement of these performance indicators is crucial for reliable analysis in life science research and diagnostic applications such as DNA sequencing and flow cytometry.
