Description
The ADS8867IDRC is a 16-bit, 100kSPS, true differential input, analog-to-digital converter (ADC). This device operates at an external reference of 2.5V to 5V, thereby providing a wide signal range without the need for additional signal conditioning. This reference voltage setting is independent of and can exceed the analog power supply voltage (AVDD).
The ADS8867IDRC provides a SPI-compatible serial port, which also supports Daisy chain operations to achieve cascading of multiple devices.
The ADS8867IDRC supports unipolar, true differential analog input signals, with the differential input swing of this signal ranging from -VREF to +VREF. This true differential analog input structure allows for any common-mode voltage value within the range of 0V to +VREF (when both inputs are within the operating input range of -0.1V to VREF+0.1V).
