April 29 news, according to the news, MediaTek Tengui 9500 will use a new generation of TSMC 3nm enhanced process N3P to build, with a new full-core architecture, including 1 * Travis + 3 * Alto + 4 * Gelas, of which the Travis and Alto is Arm's new generation of X9 series of ultra-large cores to support the SME instruction set, and the Gelas is the new A7 series of large cores.

In addition, the Tenguet 9500 will integrate the new micro-architecture Immortalis-Drage GPU, which improves light-tracing performance and reduces power consumption, and supports full-volume AI; it will have 16MB of L3 cache, 10MB of SLC, and an upgraded NPU 9.0, which is expected to provide 100TOPS of computing power, and it will also support 10667Mbps LPDDR5x RAM + Quad-Channel UFS4.1 flash memory.


According to previous leaks, MediaTek initially planned to use TSMC's 2nm process to manufacture the device, but given the high price of the process and Apple's significant capacity hogging, MediaTek opted to use the N3P process to manufacture the Tenguet 9500 due to cost and capacity considerations.


While N3P may not be as energy efficient as TSMC's new generation of 2nm process nodes, it is still an improvement over the N3E used in the Tenguet 9400. In addition, the Tenguet 9500 is expected to be clocked at up to 4GHz, which will be followed up by Mingjiada.
