nRF9151 Combines with IIJ's SoftSIM to Enable Global Connectivity and Simplify Design of Cellular IoT End Products

Nordic Semiconductor's nRF9151 low-power module for advanced cellular IoT applications now supports SoftSIM products from Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ), the only SoftSIM supplier in Japan. replacing traditional SIMs with SoftSIM simplifies design for product developers and reduces power consumption as well as SIM and bill of materials (BoM) costs for cellular IoT end products based on Nordic nRF9151 modules. softSIM is ideal for cellular IoT devices such as wearables and smart sensors, which have low-power consumption requirements and space constraints.
