Product Description
The LMX2592RHAR is a high performance, wire-band PLLatinum RF synthesizer with an integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) supporting a frequency range of 20MHz to 9.8GHz. This device supports fractional N and integer N modes and has a 32-bit fractional divider, which can provide precise frequency selection. Its phase noise performance leads the industry. The VCO phase noise offset of 1MHz at 6GHz output is -134.5dBc/Hz, the normalized PLL noise base is -231 DBC /Hz, and the normalized PLL flicker noise is -126 DBC /Hz. Integral noise is 49fs RMS jitter (12kHz to 20MHz) .
The LMX2592RHAR can accept an input frequency up to 1.4GHz. Combined with a frequency divider and a programmable low-noise multiplier, the frequency can be flexibly set. The additional programmable low-noise multiplier can help users mitigate the impact of integer boundary spurious. In fractional N mode, the LMX2592RHAR can adjust the output phase to 32-bit resolution. For applications that require rapid frequency changes, the LMX2592RHAR supports a fast calibration option that takes less than 25µs.
This performance can be achieved by using a 3.3V power supply. The LMX2592RHAR supports two differential outputs, and these two outputs can also be flexibly configured as single-ended outputs. Users can choose to program one of them to be output from the VCO (or voltage multiplier), and the other to be output from the channel distributor.
