Allegro MicroSystems, Inc. (" Allegro "), a leading global provider of power and sensing solutions for motion control and energy efficient systems, today announced the launch of three new solutions aimed at improving performance and optimizing energy efficiency for electric vehicles and industrial automation. The solutions include the ACS37035 and ACS37630 current sensors, as well as the A89347 automotive-grade fan driver chip, providing advanced functionality for multiple application scenarios.

ACS37035 Current sensor chip
The Allegro ACS37035 high-precision current sensor chip has a bandwidth of 1 MHz and a typical response time of 0.45 µs for precise measurement of high-frequency currents in fast control loops. Its differential sensing function, combined with a common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 4 mA/Gauss, provides high immunity to external magnetic fields, ensuring accurate measurements even in noisy environments. The sensor has a sensitivity error of ±3% over the temperature range and a maximum offset voltage of ±15 mV to minimize error and improve system performance. This high precision and noise resistance enables tighter control loops that increase motor efficiency, reduce power consumption, and enable smoother operation. Target applications include motor control, load detection and management, and switching mode power supplies.
ACS37630 current sensor chip
Designed for U-core current sensing applications such as xEV traction inverters and battery management systems, the ACS37630 offers high bandwidth (up to 250 kHz) and fast analog output, with a typical response time of 1.6 µs. Its vertical Hall technology senses magnetic fields parallel to the packaging surface, making it ideal for system integration with U-shaped magnets. This non-contact, non-invasive current sensing solution eliminates the need for C-magnets, simplifying assembly and reducing system complexity. With a sensitivity of ±0.7% and an offset of ±5 mV, the ACS37630 provides accurate current measurements over the full automotive grade Grade0 operating temperature range of -50 to +150°C. The simplified design and high precision reduce the design and manufacturing complexity of current sensing systems, while reducing costs and improving system reliability.
A89347 Fan driver chip
The Allegro A89347 is an automotive-grade, sensorless sinusoidal three-phase BLDC driver chip for electric vehicle seats and battery cooling fans. It provides integrated closed-loop speed control that minimizes vibration and audible noise. In addition, customizable speed curves that can be configured through EEPROM allow for customized performance in a variety of fan applications. The A89347 has swing rate control, lock detection and low power standby mode with current consumption of only 10 µA. Flexible controls help for quieter, more efficient fan operation, while lower power consumption extends battery life. The AEC-Q100 standard IC ensures reliable operation in the automotive environment.
The ACS37035 and ACS37630 are available now, and the A89347 will be available this summer. All products will come with evaluation boards and comprehensive support resources to assist customers with design and development.
