Product overview

The TPS62135 buck converter is a synchronous buck DC-DC converter based on the DCS-Control™ topology that is not only efficient but also easy to use. The device has a wide input voltage range of 3V to 17V, making it suitable for use in multiple lithium batteries and 12V intermediate power rail applications. Each device provides 3.5A continuous output current. The TPS62135 automatically enters energy saving mode at light loads, thus maintaining high efficiency over the entire load range. As a result, these devices are well suited for applications that require networked standby performance, such as ultra-low power computers.

With the MODE pin set to low level, the switching frequency of the device is automatically adjusted according to the input and output voltages. This technology, known as Automatic Efficiency Enhancement (AEE™), maintains high conversion efficiency across the entire range of work. It provides 1% output voltage accuracy in PWM mode, thus ensuring that the design of the power supply maintains high output voltage accuracy.
