Overview:

The Kinetis® KV4x family of MCUS is a high-performance solution that provides precision, sensing and control capabilities for some of the most demanding applications in the field of motor and power control.

The MKV42F256VLL16R microcontroller uses an Arm® Cortex-M4 core, operates at 168MHz, has a DSP and floating point unit, and features advanced high-speed, high-precision peripherals such as 312 picosecond high-resolution pulse width modulation (PWM), dual 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), The sampling rate is 4.1 megabits per second (MSPS), with a total of 30 PWM channels, supporting multi-motor systems and dual FlexCAN modules. Kinetis® KV4x series MCUS use a 128-bit wide flash interface to improve overall performance.

168 MHz Cortex-M4 core with DSP and floating-point arithmetic unit - significantly improves performance for computationally intensive applications, such as sensorless field oriented control (FOC) algorithms

• 128-bit wide flash memory is connected to the cache to minimize the number of waiting states while performing a fast control loop
