The RA4M3 32-bit MCU product family is a family of MCUS based on the 100MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core. The RA4M3 MCU has up to 1MB of code flash (with background and SWAP), 8KB of data flash, and 128KB of SRAM (with parity /ECC). These highly integrated devices also include USB 2.0 full speed, SDHI, four-channel SPI, capacitive Touch Sensing Unit (CTSU), and advanced analog peripherals. Secure element functionality is provided by an integrated secure encryption engine with encryption accelerator, key management support, tamper detection, and power analysis resistors (in conjunction with Arm TrustZone®).

The RA4M3 MCU is based on an efficient 40nm process and is powered by an open and flexible ecosystem concept based on FreerTOs-Flexible Package (FSP). These devices can also be extended to use other real-time operating systems (RTOS) and middleware. RA4M3 MCUS are suitable for iot applications that typically require a variety of communication options, future-proof security, large embedded RAM, flash memory running CoreMark® algorithms, and active power consumption as low as 119µA/MHz.

The R7FA4M3AF3CFP 32-bit MCU comes in a 100-pin LQFP package with an ambient operating temperature range of -40 ° C to +105 ° C.
