July 16 news, recently, Guanghe Tong (300638) officially launched a high-calculus AI module SCA825-W based on Qualcomm QCS8250 chip platform, which will be comprehensively applied to AIoT fields of complex video image analysis such as connected medical, digital signage, smart retail, and video collaboration. GWT AI module enriches the product line of intelligent modules, and the AI performance generates powerful potentials to build up a strong presence in digital economy application fields.


It is understood that the GWT AI module SCA825-W is equipped with Qualcomm's flagship IoT chip QCS8250 platform built for computationally intensive AI applications, integrating high-performance Kryo 585 CPU architecture, Adreno 650 GPU, independent NPU, Hexagon DSP and Adreno 995 DPU processor, which can fully provide up to 15TOPS of computing power.


In terms of image processing, thanks to the powerful image signal processor (Spectra 480 ISP), the SCA825-W supports triple display, up to 7 cameras concurrently, and encoding capability up to 8K at 60 fps, providing excellent HD video encoding performance.


The SCA825-W supports a wide range of wireless connectivity options with support for 2*2 Wi-Fi MIMO multi-antenna technology, including Wi-Fi 6 for IoT, Bluetooth 5.1 and 5G data transmission. In terms of peripheral devices, the SCA825-W integrates a rich set of peripheral interfaces, including MIPI-DSI, I2S, PCIe, UART, USB, I2C, and SPI, greatly expanding its peripheral connectivity devices and accelerating industrial and commercial IoT scale deployment and commercialization.
