Overview:

The F1456NKGK8 is a high gain/high linearity 2.1GHz to 2.95GHz TX digital variable gain amplifier for transmitter applications.

The F1456 TX DVGA offers a maximum gain of 32.1dB, +38dBm OIP3, and a noise figure of 3.9dB. Gain control of up to 31.5dB is achieved using a combination of a digital stepping attenuator (DSA) and a KLINTM RF digital gain amplifier. The device uses a 5V single power supply and 215mA ICC.

The device comes in a 6 mm X 6 mm, 28-VFQFPN package with 50Ω single-ended RF input and RF output impedance for easy integration into the signal path.

•1500MHz to 2950MHz broadband

• Maximum gain 32.1dB

• Noise figure 3.9dB at maximum gain (2650MHz)

•31.5dB total gain control range, 0.5dB step

• Overshoot between gain conversions <2dB

• Maintain a flat +21.5dBm OP1dB over a gain adjustment range of 13dB

• Maintain a flat +38dBm OIP3 over a gain adjustment range of 15dB or more

• SPI interface for DSA control

•5V single supply voltage

•ICC=215mA

• Operating temperature up to +105°C TCASE

•50Ω input and output impedance

• Standby mode, save power

• Pin compatible with 700MHz and 2100MHz versions

•6 X 6 mm, 28-VFQFPN package
