It is reported that Intel CEO visited TSMC in August to discuss revising the 3nm production plan
Intels 14th-generation Meteor Lake was originally scheduled to enter mass production by the end of 2022 and launched in the first half of 2023, but it is now rumored that it has been delayed to the end of 2023.
On July 11, according to the technology media WCCFTech, the CEO of Intel Corporation (Intel) will go to Taiwan to visit TSMC three times in August to revise the 3-nanometer production plan.
According to the contract, TSMC's 3nm process will be used to make graphics chips for Intel, which is one of the chips used in Intel's 14th-generation Meteor Lake central processing unit (CPU).
Intel's 14th-generation Meteor Lake was originally scheduled to enter mass production by the end of 2022 and launched in the first half of 2023, but it is now rumored that it has been delayed to the end of 2023. Now that this Meteor Lake graphics chip has been outsourced to TSMC, Intel's delayed schedule is bound to disrupt TSMC's 3nm production plan.
