Overview:

The NCS32100 is a full-featured controller and sensor interface that, when paired with a non-contact PCB sensor, enables high-resolution, high-precision Angle detection solutions. The device supports static to high-speed applications. The NCS32100 has flexible configuration capabilities that allow connection to a variety of inductive sensor modes and provides absolute serial digital output. Inductive sensing technology offers unique advantages over traditional position sensor solutions, including but not limited to insensitivity to contaminants, mechanical simplicity, and providing a sensor solution with a lower overall cost.


Features:

• Provides absolute position output with programmable index

• Provides speed, temperature and backup battery measurements

• Support for connecting RS−485 drives (2.5 Mbps)

• Maximum speed at highest accuracy: 6000 rpm

• Maximum speed with reduced accuracy: 60,000 rpm

• Power supply voltage range: 2.75 V−5.5 V

• Interface level conversion: 2.7V to 5.5V

• Low Power Battery mode Power consumption: 2 mA (typical) *

• Full power consumption: 80 mA (typical value)

Internal programmable M0-ARM MCUS provide data interface, configuration, NVM, and calibration functions Configuration, NVM, and calibration functions
