Device Overview

The TPS63070RNMR High Input Voltage Buck-Boost Converter is a high efficiency, low quiescent current buck-boost converter. These devices are suitable for applications where the input voltage is higher or lower than the output voltage. The output current in boost and buck modes can be as high as 2 A. The buck-boost converters are based on a fixed frequency pulse width modulation (PWM) controller that uses synchronous rectification to achieve maximum efficiency. At low load currents, the converter enters a power-save mode to maintain high efficiency over a wide load range. The converter can also be disabled to minimise the risk of battery drain. During shutdown, the load is disconnected from the battery. The device is available in a 2.5mm x 3mm QFN package.
