Device description:

Broadcom's thin-film thermoelectric infrared (IR) sensors for gas detection and substance concentration measurement offer extremely high responsiveness, low chatter, and best-in-class thermal and electrical stability.

The analog single detector AFBR-S6PY0211 is equipped with a 4.46µm/180 nm filter. The device is mainly used for Co detection.

This high-performance current mode sensor has a signal-to-noise ratio of approximately 10,000 and provides fast, stable response over a wide operating frequency range. The sensor element is built into a low-noise circuit with an internal CMOS operational amplifier and a 10 GΩ feedback resistor that outputs a voltage signal centered on the half supply rail.
