Overview:

TC77-5.0MCTTR-VAO is a serial accessible digital temperature sensor that is particularly suitable for low cost and small size applications. The temperature data is converted from the internal thermal sensing element and is readily available in the form of a 13-bit binary digit word. Communication with the TC77 is achieved through SPI and MICROWIRE compatible interfaces. It has a 12-bit plus temperature resolution of 0.06 25°C per least significant bit (LSB). The TC77 provides a temperature accuracy of ±1.0°C (maximum) over a temperature range of +25°C to +65°C. When operating, the TC77 consumes only 250µA (typical value). The configuration register of the TC77 can be used to activate a low-power shutdown mode with a power consumption of only 0.1µA (typical). The small size, low cost, and ease of use make the TC77 ideal for implementing thermal management in a variety of systems.
